Your hosts will be more than happy to suggest dining, sightseeing and other entertainment offered in the Down East Maine area. Carolyn will, at your request, make dinner reservations, reserve tickets to a show or concert, or perhaps a day trip on the "Cat" to Nova Scotia.

You will find shopping a treat in the quaint stores of Ellsworth and Bar Harbor. Local stores offer hand made pottery, hand crafted jewelry, antiques, art and many other items. Maine is well known for its Cottage Industry.

From late June through July enjoy symphony concerts and chamber music at the Pierre Monteux School for conductors and musicians, here in Hancock.

Cottage by the Sea is minutes from Acadia National Park, Schoodic Point and Mount Desert Island.
